Opening your heart can be a vulnerable act
When you connect with someone, it’s like the stars align and it becomes a fact
It doesn’t happen often enough these days
But sometimes chances do come your way
Learn to recognise the signs that appear
It couldn’t be any more clear

But when your opening up your heart
Be sure it’s with someone that will treat it with respect
Sometimes we need that time to reflect
If that person has you in mind too
Or if in fact they are dating another one or two

If this may be the case
Don’t allow it to leave you with a bitter taste
It’s time to move along
